Over the last 32 years, David has worked with utilities, independent power producers and industrials to develop over 12GW of utility scale power projects globally.  Most recently, David led a commercial team in North America responsible for the portfolio of GE power generation products including gas and steam turbines, HRSGs, and other power plant equipment and services. 

 

In addition to his sales roles for GE, David held leadership positions in engineering, project execution, and manufacturing.  He led one of GE largest manufacturing facilities and was responsible for increasing gas turbine production capacity by 150% over a 2-year period.

In addition to his sales roles for GE, David held leadership positions in engineering, project execution, and manufacturing.  He led one of GE largest manufacturing facilities and was responsible for increasing gas turbine production capacity by 150% over a 2-year period.   David spent 4 years in the Netherlands as the Managing Director of a joint venture business that sold, engineered and manufactured gas turbines generators for utilities in Europe and Africa.  Early in his career, he was a project engineer at the Peach Bottom Nuclear Power Station in Pennsylvania and the Guri Dam expansion in Venezuela, then the world’s largest hydroelectric plant.  He is a graduate of Texas Tech University and holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering.

Outside of GE, David served as a volunteer coach with Master’s Apprentice, a group that connects industries in need of qualified apprentices and young men searching for a sustainable career.   He has served on the employment committee for Denver’s Road Home, a group committed to ending homelessness and restoring hope.  He was active in industry associations and has served as the Generation Committee chairman for RMEL, an association of electric utilities and IPPs in the Western US.
