With over 43 years at GE and Stewart & Stevenson, Jim Prochaska has extensive technical and commercial experience with gas and steam turbines, recip engines, combined cycles, CHP, plant auxiliaries and electric grid operation – their design and optimizing for maximum owner value, both for new projects and improving existing assets. 

 

 

After retiring from GE in 2017, Jim is applying his deep expertise to provide consulting engineering services with valuable insight and support to project developers, utilities & asset owners and their associated equipment and service providers. 

Along with his expertise in powerplant design and analytical details, he has the skills to distill the essentials and economics, and present actionable recommendations to project, commercial, legal and financial management teams.
